The challenge

Seasonal rivers cut rural settlements off from markets, schools and healthcare for months at a time. The crossing had to withstand monsoon flows and heavy approach traffic.

Our approach

We built the bridge and its approaches as a single package — substructure, deck and the graded, sealed road on either side — to a standard built to last.

The outcome

A dependable all-weather link that improves access for the communities it serves and strengthens the wider rural road network.
